...I love that! Especially the under utilized! LOL!

I have a friend that is always after me about the effect of words. I like this idea. I may have to steal it and make my own list cause...your's isn't exaclty what I need! he he he.Marjahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10494297041780650878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5139432777526488192.post-46039648608032551692009-07-22T13:17:27.592-07:002009-07-22T13:17:27.592-07:00I like what you said about God creating the world ...I like what you said about God creating the world with words... so true. Words are so powerful and they can instantly change how a person feels and thinks. I wish I was learning about this stuff earlier.

I got a kick out of the "under-utilized" one. I have been waiting for someone to call me a sinner but my goal when I came up with the word was to make me laugh about the situation making it easier to change my frame of mind.Jasonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10636265223140118088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5139432777526488192.post-21489144279788593962009-07-21T21:37:50.341-07:002009-07-21T21:37:50.341-07:00Good Goal!!! I was just today talking.... lecturin...Good Goal!!! I was just today talking.... lecturing my DD about the power of words. We do what we speak and hear; Period.
Changing a word changes everything.

An example I often use is like this;
If I tell a mechanic
"Don't drop that wrench"
Guaranteed he will drop the wrench.
If I tell the same person,
"hold onto that tight"
He will never drop.

God created the world with words,
Jesus is the 'Word'
Words have power; period.
Keep up the good work with your words....

P.S. Under-utilized....:ROFLRoberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16947601000920999071noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5139432777526488192.post-52713676069011825182009-07-21T19:44:40.269-07:002009-07-21T19:44:40.269-07:00"Why is it so hard to maintain?"
Well, ..."Why is it so hard to maintain?"

Well, you know. We're human. Our "flesh" battles with our "spirit". When Jesus was in the garden praying and he found his friends sleeping ... Remember what he said? The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. I believe He gives us the strength we need to be consistant. I think (this is my own opinion) it's a journey. We know what it is we have to do but no matter how many times we try ... we fail. Then there comes this "revelation". It's knowledge we have but the light bulb hasn't gone off over top our heads and hearts yet. There's a point in our lives when this revelation hits us that we can't do it on our own. To me, it's a growing, learning process.

I'll confess. God's still a working on me. (I like that song.)Vivianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12321315535900496875noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5139432777526488192.post-4132480352519002322009-07-21T12:08:31.462-07:002009-07-21T12:08:31.462-07:00I know what you mean about being consistent. Why ...I know what you mean about being consistent. Why is it we do things for awhile they work great then we stop and things go back to crap. Why is it so hard to maintain??

Go figure!Jasonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10636265223140118088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5139432777526488192.post-80080189643006625552009-07-20T20:11:18.603-07:002009-07-20T20:11:18.603-07:00This is not my own.
