Girl Crazy

I guess it is that time of the year again, spring is here and the flowers are blooming and I am in need of a woman. So again I am faced with the question of, "Why is it so hard to meet attractive, intelligent, godly women?" I am coming to the conclusion that they either don't exist (no offense to all you woment out there) or they are all married. Well I got one thing going for me. Winter is only 8 months away and I will go back to my cave and hibernate . A few weeks ago I was talking with my step brother and we seem to be in the same boat. There used to be a time in our lives where finding a date was not to hard but since our divorces we seem to have this invisible sign that stays "damaged" keep out! I know God has a plan for me and I have healed from my divorce 2 years ago but sometimes it is hard for me to know my ex is on her millionth boyfriend and my heart and soul is screaming out to God for the one He has for me. Everyone tells me to stop looking for...

Someone Set Me Straight

Here it is another Friday and I am contemplating my extreme selfishness... Madalyn is with her mother and I am going stir crazy. Let me remind everyone that it has been about a year and a half since my ex left and I can't remember a day when I have not missed that little "stinker-buuug" (I am referring to Madalyn not my ex). I often pray that I would be the only parent in Madalyn's life, that she would be with me ALL the time. I know that is selfish and maybe not the best thing for Madalyn. I know she needs her mom but I HATE it when she is not here. So Jason why don't you get a hobby better yet how about a life that doesn't revovle around a 3 year old. Well I have a hobby which is a home business, I go to work, I go to church, volunteer on occassion, read, write, watch scifi, and every now and then hang out with friends. But with all this I miss Madalyn. Maybe I need a wife.... hmmmm! Something to consider. Okay, I feel better, just needed to vent. :-)

Friday Night Blues

Here it is another Friday night and I am finding myself lonely, alone and depressed. I feel like I am the only one that has no plans or no one to spend quality time with. At least when I have Madalyn I have companionship and something to do. I guess it is not all bad, I do enjoy the time to myself but for so long I have prayed for my best friend. I continue to pray that God will make the way for her soon. On a different note: I have been praying for ideas and places to meet people that don’t have to do with bars and clubs and as I checked my mail this evening I found a neat publication that listed classes for next month at local high schools. All sorts of classes, it was a total answer to prayer. The opportunity to be around others and learn something, WOW! I know God worked that out for me and I am thankful. I can’t wait to check some out next month. Tomorrow will be better, I can see Madalyn running to daddy for a big hug, I can’t wait. I can’t wait for some adult companio...
