Getting Through the Blues

Monday's are always the worst for me. Work sucks, I just went through another weekend without a date and I miss my kid. I was only married for 3 years so you would think that I would still know how to atleast talk to women. Well I don't...I don't even know where to meet them. I don't drink and church seems to be an akward place plus what if they are married. Ahrg!! I guess I better stop feeling sorry for myself but I would sure like some tips

Rem. it is in God's time that you get a mate. Stay in pray and believe in HIS devine plan for your life. He is still working on your soul mate and you and when the time is right....wow! I just found your blog and know this was from June, but maybe this will help. Hope you're still reading it! Precious little girl.

God's time, God's time...HURRY UP GOD... haha! Today was a blessed day. I will learn to be content with where I am in life and if I let go and let God I will grow.

Last night I attended a church meeting hoping to make some connections. Since my divorce a couple years ago I have struggled with making new contacts and friends. I have noticed that my patience for people has even diminished causing me to isolate myself more than normal. I guess I have lost confidence in others because of the divorce. The Other Daddy

I may need a reality check here so correct me if I am wrong.  If a father is very active in his kid's life and even has primary custody should the children call their step father, daddy?  I know there are situations out there where step dads become the regular dad becuase he isn't around and I think that is great.  However, I can see my ex really getting my goat by convincing my daughter to call her step dad, "daddy".  I think she should call him by his first name.  Do I make an issue out of this or let it go?  However, it does bother me a bit, okay more than a bit.

Getting all the Breaks

Have you ever noticed that some people seem to catch a lot of breaks while others seem to always get passed by? Not that I have a hard life or am lacking but I have noticed that there are a few things I am constantly striving for that shouldn't be out of reach for some reason they continually slip through my fingers. For example: There is this young couple that bought tickets to win a home, they WON... several years later they bought a couple more and won again. Here I am trying to pay off debt so I can buy a home and it seems that there is one thing after another that is pushing farther and farther in debt. I am not trying to gripe but I wonder sometimes why some seem to have an easier go at life while others don't. Is it the past choices they made?
